The Amazon Echo launched in 2014, but now the market includes options from Google and Apple as well. Amazon’s digital assistant is Alexa, and most reviewers agree that she’s the top assistant out of all smart speakers currently on the market.

  • 33% use the devices more than five times daily
  • 24% use them two to three times a day
  • 28% used them four to five times a day
  • 89% of owners use them everyday
  • 73% of smart speaker owners have made a purchase through their smart speaker
  • 58% of respondents said they use assistants to accomplish tasks they used to do through typing or swiping
